The development of a brand story and a new identity for Hamilton Airport was a major undertaking. My role, first of all, was to listen. This project had many different stakeholders who needed to be heard. From their shared words, I crafted a core brand story that the Principals design team could use as a foundation for the brand identity.

Engaging with Waikato tangata whenua and ensuring the story centred the region’s deep history and traditions was a highlight.

This project has won multiple design awards globally — and I’m really proud to have my name attached to it.
